Mike Ricketts Honored for Achievements in Minority Business Development

The National Minority Suppliers Development Council (NMSDC) has announced that Mike Ricketts, president and chief executive officer of Quality Packaging Specialists International, will be honored for significant long-term achievements in minority business development at the NMSDC Leadership Awards Dinner-Dance on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009 at the Hilton New York and Towers in New York.

QPSI received the “2008 Supplier of the Year” Award from the Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC) PA-NJ-DE, presented by Wal-Mart.

According to the MSDC Executive Director, Darlene Jenkins, QPSI was recognized by its customers who nominated QPSI for the Award as having provided “unequaled quality and service in contract packaging to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, beauty, and consumer goods industries. Corporate Plus® membership is recognition as the highest caliber minority business enterprises which have the proven capacity to handle national contracts for major corporations.  QPSI was nominated for membership by Johnson & Johnson based on over 2 years experience with QPSI under a national contract.
